Episode 1: We meet each other

In this world there is an organization called the Talons. They are essentially an agency to hire various skills from, like you would a temp agency in real life. They'll do contracts for almost anything for the right price and hold a fair bit of political power.

So our group was hired by the Talons to go to the town of Warwick and help them with a problem they were having. Part of the group was coming by land from Astaban and the other was coming by sea from the North. The group coming by land consisted of Vohn, Fizzledorp, and Meghan. It is worth noting that Meghan currently looks human -- tall tanned blonde with green eyes. So these three had some fun conversations, well, mostly the other two talked while Meghan listened.

The by land crew arrived in Warwick without issue, though Meghan was very glad when the rest showed up as Vohn and Fizzledorp are talkers while she isn't. Turns out the rest of the party is a bunch of misfits as well. But shortly after the party gathered, we were escorted off to the Mayor's house.

Apparently it's election time in this town so there was a bunch of campaigners out trying to encourage folks to vote for the mayor. They were handing out pins and scrolls, which was amusing as they kept trying to hand them to us. Meghan spent the entire time avoiding them as much as possible, while others took the pins/scrolls.

Then the Mayor came out in typical politician style and started shaking hands and attempted to hug Meghan. She ducked out of that too. Thankfully one of his aides pointed out this party wasn't part of the town but was here to help with the issue, so he invited us inside for a drink and to discuss the issue.

Turns out that they're having a problem with poachers in the woods to the north of town. And they're poaching wolves that are sacred to their spirituality and it's causing the cleric to have nightmares and just general bad ju-ju going on.

After leaving the Mayor's house we go up to the temple to confirm the Mayor's story. He is obviously a politician, so it felt right to verify the story. Turns out he was telling the truth.

So off we go to the north woods to figure out what's going on. Paul, Meghan's animal companion Hawk, alerted us to some bad guys just as the session ended.
