Ep 1102: Tsedek gets chomped on

When last we left our adventurers Tsedek and Magnus were in melee combat with two hydras, Leovan was machine-gunning arrows, Itanis and Elle were hanging back throwing spells. We left off with Elle (who goes last in this battle) having just thrown a fireball at Magnus.

It's just easier to find the shiny thing in the middle of all the action and target him after all. LOL

Turns out Hydra 1 was taken out by Elle's fireball at the end of last session, so it fell over at the beginning of this session.

Hydra 2, however, is still alive and well and mad. Leovan shoots it, Tsedek stabs it, Itanis tosses caltrops at it and it's not looking so good. The hydra then healed itself (eek!), tail swiped at Tsedek and then tried for a few bites against Tsedek and Magnus. There was some minor damage given to Tsedek. So Elle, still standing on Magnus' war horse, throws a bigger fireball. And then the Hydra used an action to cause a thick mist to arrive (which everyone is now blaming on Elle boiling the pond with fireballs of course).

So Leovan tries to shoot it with more arrows but misses, but Tsedek wailed on it some more. Itanis created a gust of wind to try to alleviate the mist/fog in the area. And then the Hydra went. It reached down and bit down on Tsedek, and then took off running with Tsedek hanging out of its mouth. Magnus decides to go running after it and gave the Hydra the death blow before it had a chance to chew and swallow Tsedek.

After one more night on the road we made it to the village we were to report to, and that is where we left off for this week's adventure.
