Episode 3: The bandits almost get us, or we almost get ourselves

When last we left there were 2 injured bandits from group 2 left, and 4 fresh bandits from group 3 freshly arrived. They did not get the jump on us due to Meghan's hawk being on over-watch.

Malek casts grease where the 4 new bandits are, causing one to fall flat on his face; Meghan returns to the main battle scene; Thonk "casts" jump and lands near the new group of bandits and hits one. Fizzledorp kills the bandit leader, spraying Lutor with blood so he turns and charges the new group of bandits and tries to imidate; and Vohn moves into position and yells duck so Meghan falls prone in time for Vohn to shoot the group of bandits.

Next round got entertaining, Malek goes full archer on a fleeing bandit, killing the bandit with arrows; Thonk cleaves through two bandits -- only misses the first bandit and hits Lutor and the second bandit. Did quite a lot of damage to Lutor too. Meghan, being half-drow, has a couple of abilities that she doesn't advertise so she casts darkness on herself and then proceeds to stand up from prone. It gives her some concealment reducing the chance of the bandits around her hitting her. One did connect though, doing a fair chunk of damage, but she was able to get up and move out of the way.

Lutor knocks out one bandit and Fizzledorp yells "leave her alone!" and swings at a bandit, killing it. Vohn got another shot off as well.

Malek and Thonk then finish off the last standing bandit, leaving the one that Lutor knocked out on the ground. We tied up that bandit and then proceeded to catch our breaths. Literally in Thonk's case, barbarian rage - uh, I mean magic - takes energy.

Vohn then walks up to Lutor and shouts DRINK! Lutor, being an affable sort, hands over a bottle of liquor, which Vohn proceeds to generously partake of.

Also at this point Meghan's disguise slips (she has a disguise to make her pass as a blonde haired tanned human) and both Vohn and Fizzledorp notice her grey skin, white hair, and noticeably pointy ears and proceed to bombard her with questions. Vohn even whispers "I don't know why you're hiding, you're the prettiest one here." Meghan then removes the alcohol from Vohn's hands and returns it to Lutor, stating perhaps we should not give the little one as much alcohol.

And then the tied up bandit regained consciousness and proceeds to start screaming.

And at this point the session was over. More in the future! Assuming we don't die.
