Episode 2: First fight

When we last left the group, we had been ambushed on the road by some bandits. So now we're going to fight! Or at least try to. This isn't a cohesive team yet.

So there are 3 bandits and so we wade in. Malek did a neat spell delivery via arrow trick, Meghan converted her staff into a shield and moved towards the bandits and asked her bird to fly over-watch, Thonk "cast" jump and did this leap over a rock and proceeds to cleave bandits.

Another group of bandits show up and announced their presence by shouting "flank attack!" ... yeah, that was a bandit minion and none to bright. So Fizzledorp starts his spinning blade and yells "Give up and live", no one took him seriously though, he is only 3' tall. Lutor wades in and attacks, and Vohn shoots at one of the bandits.

The remaining bandit from the original batch tries to run away, and the other bandits swung at us doing some damage.

Next round Thonk "cast" fireball at a bandit (threw a dart, painted red), Malek continued shooting things with his spell-arrows. Meghan runs after the fleeing bandit and cuts him down.

Lutor does more damage to the second batch of bandits, as does Vohn. Turns out Fizzledorp's spinning blade has a long reach and does a lot of damage. It's good it has a long reach, his walking speed is actually quite dreadful. Fizzledorp, being 3' tall, decides to reach between Lutor's legs (he's well over 6') and mow on a bandit.

Then Meghan's hawk alerted us to another batch of bandits and we had to end the session. The original 3 bandits are all dead, the second batch of bandits are dead or injured, and the third batch of bandits are fresh. We're all in pretty good shape.
