So when we last left this party, we were at the bottom of the well after being lowered by Durnan, the tavern keeper of the Yawning Portal. There's one exit from this room and it looks like it's pretty much just a staging area for entering/exiting this dungeon. Also I was playing this episode via teams so I did not get to catch everything that was said.

The GM then asks what the party order is and Evangeline, being a Paladin, strides forth. He then asks what her light source was and I retorted with Tiefling, light is not required. Talon does have a torch going for those who do not have the ability to see in the dark.

So we line up and start exploring the dungeon. Our party order however turned out to be irrelevant as the very first official hallway we come to is filled with large recessed doorways filled with reliefs of demons. Some careful exploration doesn't find any serious traps ... which is laughable since our party is pretty much all fight and no finesse ... but one party member finds a hidden switch. Another party member discovers the eyes in one of the demon reliefs are actually peep holes.

We decide to flip the hidden switch to see what happens, and one of the other reliefs spins open, revealing a hidden tunnel. The tunnel doesn't go far and then ends in a room that is essentially a septic tank. It's slimy gross water and stinks. For some reason we decide to explore it.

Talon flies over and lands on a handy humanoid fish statue and there's much back and forth but no real ideas. Then one soul tosses a rock into the stinky slimy gross water ... and out pops an ooze, who returns fire so to speak. The ooze however didn't even make it a full round of fighting, it was taken out by Talon, Unit 2408, and Melchizedor quite easily.

We decide then to leave this secret tunnel and keep going, hoping to find a door into the hidden room behind the peep hole. Continuing down the hall way we find a 4 way intersection and decide to turn right towards the hidden room. A little further down that hall, we find a door. Again, we're all fight and no finesse, so Evangeline just throws open the door.

Turns out this room is the room behind the peep hole. There's an armor stand in the middle of the room with some rotted leather, a desiccated hand, and a glowing sword stuck through the stand. Further investigation of this room shows footprints going between door and the peep holes, making us think this is a lookout post.

But Unit 2408 is able to pick up the trail of the footprints in the dust so we start following him down the hallway to a T intersection ...

... and that's where this session ends.
