This episode is all about the battle, perhaps with a smidge of glitter. Also I may actually remember all the gory details for this post as the game actually happened today. However, we were playing in a booth in the main cafe room so the noise levels were higher than normal. As a reminder this party is made up of:

Tsedek, our charming Tiefling Rogue

Itanis, a devious High Elf Wizard, fond of controlling any situation we may find ourselves in

Leoven, our quiet but effective Wood Elf Ranger

Magnus, the Human Paladin of Heironious, he has followed a vengeance path

Elle, the small but sparky High Elf Wizard, fond of blowing things up with lots of fire

When last we left this party we had Elle, Tsedek, and Magnus on the ground beating on some demons. Itanis and Leoven are flying on Storm, Magnus' gryphon. We had killed one demon, but the other had disappeared from sight. So, Itanis did what he does best and changed the parameters of the world. He glitter-bombed the area we were in, clearly outlining the hidden demon. And at the very end of the round Magnus nopes out of the current fight - and the glitter - to Dimension Door himself 500' away to the oncoming battle tank.

The battle tank promptly runs over Magnus.

Elle, seeing the glittered shape decides to zorch it with a lightning bolt. Which kills it, well at least the glittered shape slumps over on the ground. Tsedek, seeing the assumed dead demon takes off galloping for the battle tank.

Itanis and Leoven on the gryphon start doing their magic. Leoven struggled a bit hitting the tank, which is highly unusual, but Itanis decides to control the world and made a stone box around the tank. It's big enough for the tank and Magnus on the ground around it, and that's about it. He did leave polite little "people openings" all the way around so we could get in and out.

Magnus, being Mangus, stands up and proceeds to hammer the crap out of the tank, landing solid blows on it.

Now Elle, not one to be tied to galloping about on a horse if she can get away with it, decides to abandon her horse here and Dimension Door 400' closer to the battle tank. She did take Itanis' duplicate with her. This puts her within 100' of the tank, close enough for all her spells. Tsedek continues galloping on towards the tank, while loosing a few arrows at the tank.

The battle tank, not really liking being boxed in, proceeds to lob a cannon ball at Elle and the duplicate. That hurt. It also damaged Magnus with another type of attack.

Itanis and Leoven on Storm the gryphon flew closer. Leoven shoots the battle tank, missing again which is super rare for him. Itanis starts setting himself up for some shenanigans as he is known to do.

Magnus, still standing face-to-face with a pissed off demon construct battle tank, smashes the crap out of it.

We then proceed to smash the heck out of the tank, repeatedly, with great enthusiasm till it finally fell apart and died. Though, does a mechanical construct actually die?

As we caught our breath from that we realized there was another blob of enemies heading our direction. Realizing it was more of the same things we just fought we decided to take a quick impromptu rest here after Itanis did a little creative world remodeling. He made a tank sized maze to slow the tank down, so we could recover a little.

Itanis also made a small forest as well this time, for Leoven's hiding fun. Leoven promptly parked himself in the forest and started peppering the flying golem scout creatures with arrows. Itanis got in on that action and ended them fairly quickly.

We then set up a bit of a trap for the tank. Itanis set out an immovable rod in the path of the tank at our end of the maze. We also set up the lantern of seeing, to help counteract the invisibility aspect of the tank-riders

And with that, we'll resume after the holidays!
